Jess + Billy's Lake House Elopement on Hickory Lake

Jess and Billy met in a bar, the old fashioned way :). Jess actually worked there a few years before, and still had some friends that worked there. They said they knew of a guy that came in regularly that would be a good match. Neither of them were really into being set up, but we ended up meeting organically there one night and the rest is history! They has actually talked about getting married there, but the bar has since been torn down. It's a gas station now, and the idea of a gas station wedding isn't super romantic lol. Jess and Billy basically finish each others sentences, love to cook together and every year they plant a vegetable and herb garden. They also love to go mushroom hunting in the back of their house in St. Louis. Jess and Billy decided to elope due to covid and they found a cute little house on the lake to say their vows get married at. It was such a quiet and sweet ceremony, with just the two of them. Afterwards they cut their cake on the back porch and then we headed to Shutes Branch to take some sunset photos. It was such an awesome day! Elopements are super special to me and I get really giddy when I get to photograph them!
